A Canadian couple made provincial-shaped cookies
A baker in Canada thought it would be fun to bake cookies that all have the shapes of Canada's provinces and territories. "These look delicious," said her husband. "Thanks!" She said. "And don't worry, I made a little of each shape for you to eat." "What do you mean?" he asked. "Well," she said, "I know that your family is partly descended from indigenous peoples in the north. This means you are traditionally not allowed to eat anything in the shape of the part of Canada where your ancestors came from.” Grabbing a handful of cookies in the shape of Canada's north-central region, he said: "Turns out my family is First Nations. We did a DNA test and all," and he began to devour the cookies, islands and all. It's a classic fairy tale. She thought he was an Inuit, but he had Nunavut.
